For this project I was commissioned to create a new logo and chocolate bar packaging for Ghirardelli Chocolate. I was asked to add at least one extra process to the chocolate bar package, whether it be varnishing, foiling or embossing. For the logo I wanted to use a luxurious font representative of the experience of eating quality chocolate. I also included their founding date and location from their original logo. For the chocolate bar packaging I decided to create a simplistic graphic consisting of the Golden Gate Bridge since Ghirardelli is based in San Francisco. I also chose to use a warm color palette of reddish browns to represent both chocolate and the Golden Gate Bridge. Finally, I added embossing and foiling to the bridge, moon and name on the bar.
